How did the Angels do it?

// Preparing for the show is no piece of cake. A buffet was backstage, but most of the models had been monitoring themselves for weeks.

“I try to eat organic all the time,” Kurkova said. “I don’t eat white sugar, white flour, processed food.”

“I do kickboxing and Pilates,” said model Lily Aldridge, who is engaged to Kings of Leon‘s Caleb Followill. “Closer to the show I do a little bit more, leg lifts and a lot of crunches.”

Said Ambrosio: “I called my trainer 15 days ago and started doing the Brazilian butt lift, which is lots of ankle weights. Yesterday, I was lifting 30 pounds on each leg. I was like, dying. But you get immediate results. Your bum gets way more round.”

With nary a stunt bump or bruise in sight, model-turned-Transformers 3 actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrived earlier in the day by red-eye. “I made it!” she said, sitting in her silk robe backstage.

Chanel Iman was preparing for her first pair of wings. “I’ve been trying to hold it back from everybody that I finally have wings,” she said. “My last wings are 35 pounds.” That’s heavy, but she had a plan. “I’m going to put them on at the last minute, put my shoulders back, and as soon as I get backstage I’m taking those things off.” //
