I’m gonna come.
That’s how I felt watching Burlesque in the theatre last week. I love every freaking second of that movie, Christina Arguilera’s performance, powerful vocals, spine-thrilling dance routines, gorgeous cast, that hot, sexy lad Jack and mind-boggling wardrobe. Costume designer Michael Kaplan used looks from Lanvin, Dolce & Gabbana, Rick Owens, Bebe and Guess. Have I mentioned that Christian Louboutin heels that Arguilera wore nearly made tremble in my seat?

It was such a pleasant surprise my eyeballs were still safely in their sockets after the film ended because I remember that I couldn’t stop staring – open-mouthed, for that matter, at the screen. The costumes were spectacular, plot was predictable but completely enjoyable and had a perfect score for entertainment value.
Music – what do you think? It’s Burlesque AND Christina Arguilera’s vocals

I could totally understand Ali’s passion, excitement and love for performing as I am a dancer myself, love posing (I’m not shy to admit), adores attention and I feel the music and spirit in my veins, blood, whatever.

Can you believe it I nearly teared when Ali strutted her stuff for the first time – when Tess announced for the curtains to be raised when Nikki pulled that wicked deed on her. And Ali Rose got that big break.
Nobody knows you could do it. Until you decide to show the world what you’re made of

I can’t forget Kristen Bell too, who’s another beautiful lead that nearly “turned lesbian” filming Burlesque. Why am I not surprised?
“I have never felt so much good female energy around me. I find that I can’t take my eyes off them. I’m 99 percent sure I will leave this movie a lesbian.” – Kristen Bell

I would do anything to watch that scene again -laughs-

How much will is there in someone is apparent, and needless to be mentioned.
It’s like a calling, and you know what exactly you want.
Among the massive crowds, you can still be a star. Even if you’re small (in physique) like Ali.
You may be unstoppable.

In her mind, she isn’t small, or insignificant.
“Been holding down for quite some time and finally the moment’s right
I love to make the people stare
They know I got that certain savoir-faire”

It’s a passion, and emotion, it’s a fashion, Burlesque
It’ll move, goin’ through you, so do what I do, Burlesque
All ladies come put your grown up, boys throw it up if you want it
Can you feel me, can you feel it? It’s Burlesque.

This is that gorgeous pair of Louboutin’s that Arguilera wore in the film! Only 5″2, but she exudes all the star power she has, especially in this 5.5″ beauty.

This is perhaps the closest you can get to that dream pair – Louboutin’s Margot (150mm or 6″)
I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be dreaming of it until I get it one day – at a whopping US$ 2, 495.
Here’re more Louboutins that scream out my name (if my gfs ever see them)

Ambertina 150mm

Brandaplato 140mm

Pigalili 120mm
That’s all from me now, gonna watch Burlesque again, I swear.
