Come February 1, 2012 Glam Asia will be launching a  contest to search for Asia’s Top Glam Blogger. The microsite (http://blogs.glamasia.com/bloggersearch) is now up and running to give details to interested candidates, but the site will only be accepting entries come 1 Feb until 29Feb 2012.

Glam Asia is, indeed, very excited about this region-wide competition that aims to find talented and passionate fashion, beauty, lifestyle bloggers from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, The Philippines, Hong Kong, China and Thailand..and who boasts a unique flair for writing for a savvy and sophisticated audience, has sound opinions
on the subject(s), and knows exactly what it takes to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Winners of the competition stand to win a contract to be one of Glam Asia’s resident or
partner bloggers, offering them a unique opportunity to reach out to a wide audience of as
many as 250 million from the global Glam Media network. In addition, there are also
fabulous prizes to be won —including luxury resort stays for the two top winners of the
competition.

The search for Asia’s Top Glam Bloggers is open to (1) Established Bloggers, whose blogs
are at least one year old and active; and (2) New & Aspiring Bloggers, who may or may
not have an existing blog, but would love to make a name for themselves in the fashion
blogosphere in the region.

(Those without an existing blog are required to create one to be eligible for the contest.)

“One of the main objectives of this competition is to find and gather quality bloggers under
one roof here at Glam Asia as part of our efforts to discover blogging talents and, hopefully,
help raise the standard of fashion blogging in this part of the world,” says Karman Tse, Editor
of Glam Asia. “Through Asia’s Top Glam Bloggers, we also hope to give aspiring bloggers a
solid kick-start, and who knows, pave their way to celebritydom,” she adds.

For the contest, Glam Asia has also assembled a panel of esteemed judges including
renowned bloggers Sonia Eryka from Indonesia (A Diary Of The Riotous Belle), Joyce
Kristen Wong from Malaysia (Kinky Blue Fairy), Tricia Gosingtian (Tricia Will Go Places) and
Viona Wang (VW) from Singapore, as well as Ginette Chittick, fashion designer and owner
of fashion label Früfrü & Tigerlily.

A total of seven prizes will be awarded to: The two top winners, the first and second runners-
up, as well as a special “Fan Favourite” prize going out to the blogger with the most votes
from Glam Asia fans.

All winners will be announced on the 30 March 2012 on the Glam Asia
microsite.

Entry submission starts 1 February 2012, 9am (Singapore time), via
Glam Asia’s microsite (http://blogs.glamasia.com/bloggersearch), and ends
29 February 2012, 5pm (Singapore time).

In case anyone had ever wondered if good looks were genetic, this picture is the answer: yes and YES! Here’s a sneaky peek from the first ever ad campaign for Young Versace, a brand new children’s line from the Italian powerhouse, just for kids aged 0-12.

And who better to model the collection than the daughter of Gianni Versace’s muse and supermodel, Cindy Crawford? Crawford’s ten-year-old daughter Kaia models the collection for Spring/Summer 2012, which was shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The collection is a mix of typically Versace patterns and the Medusa head logo, mixed with more colourful, punky elements.

The supermodel mother sounded super-proud when asked about Kaia’s involvement with the House of Versace. ‘I’m so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace Campaign,’ Cindy said. ‘I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella. There is something so very special about the House of Versace. Being on-set with my daughter watching her in front of the camera was a fantastic experience. I am so proud of her.’ Awww….

And it seems Mini-Crawford has a fan in Donatella Versace too. ‘Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift,’ the designer said. ‘The camera really, really loves her. Having Cindy on-set for the shoot took me back to all the amazing Avedon shoots we worked on together. It was such a special treat watching Kaia walk in her mother’s footsteps!’

With Kaia already such a natural in front of the camera so young,  great things from her is definitely expected in the future. Perhaps she’ll walk for the Versace runway show for Spring/Summer 2020? Let’s wait with baited breath. What a lucky girl she is to have a pro catwalker as a mum to show her the ropes!

The Duchess looked every inch the princess in this black velvet strapless gown which she finished of the stunning look with a diamond-and-ruby necklace. And what better accessories then two princes by her side.

Red is definitely a colour that suits Kate. Here she wears a bright red coat by L.K. Bennett with matching red crocodile belt.

A more daring outfit for Kate as she wears a hot pink Issa dress which is slashed to the naval.

Kate wore this colbalt blue dress to a wedding with Prince William. She tones down the bright colour with a black jacket and black accessories.

These nude LK Bennett shoes appear to be a favourite of Kate’s as she’s been worn them on several occasions.

This sapphire-coloured Issa dress that Kate wore to officially announce her engagement to Prince William spawned several high street copies and sold out in minutes.

For her wedding reception Kate changed into another McQueen design by Sarah Burton. She teamed the strapless white dress with an embroidered waistband and an elegant angora shrug. This is also my favourite outfit of the lot! To me, she looks really resplendent in this white number, it’s almost fairy-like.

Issa is a favourite of the Duchess and her she is sporting a silver floor-length number from the designer.

Another favourite label of Kate’s is Reiss. When she wore this bodycon beige Shola dress to meet the Obamas it became an instant sellout.

Kate dazzles in this pale pink sequin and Swarovski crystal dress from Jenny Packham, which she accessorised with a satin clutch bag and nude suede shoes both from LK Bennett.

Bang on trend Kate wore this navy and cream lace dress by Canadian designer Erdem. She let the dress do the talkng as she accessorised with a nude clutch bag and shoes.

Kate wore this metallic lizard court shoes were designed by Tabitha Simmons on her tour of Canada.

Here’s Kate wearing an Issa bird print dress which she teamed with wedge slingbacks.

Kate added a pop of colour to a white dress with this red maple-leaf themed fascinator, and red is definitely one colour that brings out her rosy cheeks and lovely smile.

It seems that Kate loves muted tones. Here she is wearing a white Joseph crepe dress which she adds a woven clutch bag.

The lace detail and the bold colour of this Erdem dress certainly make Kate stand out from the crowd.

It’s nice to see Kate dressed down. Here she is wearing a navy jacket and trouser preppy combo. She’s added a white ruffle detail blouse to give it a feminine edge.

Kate sure knows how to dress for the red carpet. Here she dazzles in this Alexander McQueen gown adding some bling with sparkly accessories.

Red – always one of my favourite colours! And that pretty white brooch is attention-grabbing too!

Kate keeps it simple in this silver silk chiffon Jenny Packman dress with her brunette locks loose and keeping accessories to a minimum.

While Kate may have access to a whole host of designer brands she’s a big lover of the high street. Here she is wearing a pink and black lace tuilp dress from Zara which sold out after she was photographed in it.

We love this romantic gown by Amanda Wakeley. The empire style and light blue fabric suit Kate perfectly.
